I Like To Play Photographer

I own a small digital camera that I like to play around with, and sometimes I get shots I like.
I really don't know anything about photography-this is a hobby and fun for me. I don't claim to be a professional but I like the feeling of a shot lining up and my finger pressing down on the button.

A lot of these will probably be from Washington D.C. because I'm from that area and enjoy taking photos there. But I'm hoping to branch out a little bit, especially with my beautiful college campus surrounding me, and especially this summer as I travel a bit. I'd also like to try taking shots of skateboarders.

Just to branch off a little-

My name is Claire, and I’m 19. I’m currently attending Radford University in Virginia.

My passions include Russian History, with focuses on Imperial Russia and the Revolution. I also enjoy politics, with focuses in Russian and international politics.

My camera is a Canon PowerShot A4000 IS, in dark blue.

It’s my third Canon Powershot and so far I’m really happy with it. I prefer it much more to my Elph 100, and I can’t recall what the first model was.

If I have time in college, (between my two majors and SGA I doubt I will but if I ever do-) I hope to pick up some photography classes.
